72 Cutlass Supreme Under front hood paint

Was the underside of the front hood painted the body color or the under hood semi gloss black.

Both of my current '72 Supremes (one is an original paint Fremont car) have the semi-gloss black. There may be the slightest bit of body color overspray at the very front, but they are black overall.
