Well I was wondering how to decided on what color to paint my 1957 oldsmobile 98 ? I think of some colors then wonder what it would look like on the car.. Then I change my mind and start all over..

 

You could paint it Grabber Green or Plum Crazy!

Just kidding, post some pictures of the car now. The easiest thing to do would be to paint it the original color, especially if it is just faded factory paint. If you decide to change the color then you will have to do extra prep work on the door jambs and under the trunk lid.

 

It is a tuff decision. Narrow it down to a few colors if you can and go to your local paint supplier and look at the samples. Look at them outside in the sun to get a better feel for the color. I never have my final decision until I have the chance to do that. Sometimes it helps sometimes all the shades of the same color make it harder to decide.
