what color????????

what color to paint the white delta in my avatar? the interior is going to be redone soon in a grey/black/wood grain scheme. so what should we do with the outside paint? it has about 4 superficial quarter to half dollar sized rust spots in the paint, it's a rag top which is in pristine condition due to it hardly seeing sun.

What are some nice colors and possibly the code for it if you have it????

paint

I don't know what your preference on colors are? It looks like you have a white vinyl roof covering? My choice to make that vinyl pop is a 1985 Carmine red code wa8530.

Here are some samples on 84 colors on the actual car!

Root beer metallic brown. With a white top. Would look sick. I painted a hyabusa root beer brown with white accents in that pearl caddy white collor. Looked killer.

Save your money for a better car to invest in. These things are worthless. I know, I own 3 of them.
Enjoy it, keep it as clean as you can, but for the love of god don't invest 5k worth of paint and interior into it.
My $.02

Hey my dad did a full frame off resto on his 77 pontiac bonneville 2 door. He has 6k in the whole thing. We did the body work at my high school vo tech school. I'm redoing it a year or so after he enjoys it. It's almost done. I love 2 door b body's I want a 78 delta 2 door someday. Something about a fast b body I love .

i'll only be paying for the paint, the labor is free. i'm not too picky really just want some other minds creativity =_= and that carmine red is pretty nice looking. i also like the idea of rootbeer brown but it wont go with the interior. the red jewel is nice too but i think a bit too bright. thanks for your opinions guys!

Well let me know when you're not sick of doing body work anymore. I have a b body in the works. I'd be happy with 12.5's out of it.

I'm always happy to do side work and help people out. Now that I don't do it day in and out it's more enjoyable.

That's is that's what I want. For now I am stuck with my 72 as I just bought a house this past spring. So as long as I can keep my 72 on the road I'm happy.

1 - a burgundy/plum tone.
2 - a silver/gray tone.

Or if you really want to get jiggy with it .....

Go with a two-tone theme.

A few color combo's that I think look very nice together :
(some were actually available on these cars)

Black & Silver
Black & Gray
Gray & Silver
Burgundy & Silver
Lighter Burgundy & Darker Burgundy
White & Silver

Are you running the one-piece stock LS/98/CCSW type of grille ?.

Are you set on that particular look ?.

As much as I love chrome on old school stuff .....

I actually prefer the split grills with the painted header dividing them.

What's a header panel & couple of grilles if you are already doing all that other stuff ?.
