Valve covers and air cleaner colors

I'm looking to order paint from Bill Hirsh to restore my original valve covers and the single snorkel original air cleaner.
My question is are both items originally painted the same color/shade of Olds gold/bronze, and are these the same color/shade as the block and manifold?
What color/shade do you guys recommend?
Car is an all original(except for valve covers and air cleaner) 1969 442.
Previous owner has installed Edelbock chrome valve covers and air cleaner.
Thanks,
Jerry

Valve covers were painted while installed on the engine with the same paint as the engine. The air cleaner was either black or red, depending on the year and application. For a 1969 442 it was red.

That is one good looking engine bay
Do you know specifically what paint was used on this bay. Manufacture and color code?
I would love for my engine bay to look this good

And remember, by "red," Joe means "Olds Red," which is really a bit orange.

Fusick is the only supplier I know who sells this color, and, at least with the batch I got, the color was perfect.

Another vendor called Supercars Unlimited also carries paint in spray cans that is pretty close to the real thing. You can look at their online catalog at www.supercarsunlimited.com. I did both my '68 and '69 with their bronze engine paint, as well as my '69 with their Olds Red air cleaner paint (the paint on my '68 is original).
