Prime the bead area on SSIII's?
I am currently derusting my 15" SSIII's and will prime them with a Rustoleum primer prior to paint. Is it OK to prime or paint the bead area to keep it from rusting before installing the tires? Thanks.

Can't see the harm in that. My OEM SS wheels came in primer all the way around.
