What is correct color paint for lower dash on a 70 442.Mine is Black.I don`t know what gloss it should be?Or is there a correct interior paint?

Clean and prep the dash. Wipe it down with prepsol or equivalent. Most dashes I have painted needed to be lightly fogged with multiple coats. Literally, fog it walk away till its almost dry or dry then repeat. Every time I tried to do it in 2 or 3 coats it fish eyed...every time.
