Hi Gentlemen, Im working on a 72 Cutlass "S" with a Dark Saddle interior. I have the car totally stripped down and ready to media blast. The paint on the upper dash will need repainted along with many other plastic pieces. My question is.... Are there two different paints used? One for the metal dash and one type for the plastic( console, etc)? Also where can I find these paints to match? Can u provide a link or website.? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Just refinished my seat backs and headrests using the parts place m42 dark saddle spray paint. This is a good product that I'm sure will work on metal also. Unfortunately for me it's still the wrong shade. It almost appears that no two saddle interiors are the same lol. It looked like the correct color going on but dried to light. So the search continues, best of luck on your resto, if you have anymore info on paint let me know...alan
