Color Codes for CA Blue & Gold License Plates

Afternoon all,

Curious if anyone knows the color code for the blue on the CA 70's license plates. I've been on a dozen or so forums where someone asks this question and every "answer" is people arguing the legality of painting CA license plates and no one answers the f'n question. I make matching month stickers, which is legal (I've checked with CHP, the DMV & Local fuzz in San Diego as I've been selling YOM & Legacy black & gold stickers for a couple years now. As long as the sticker month matches the registration, they don't care as you're not changing the plate itself) and I have a pending design patent that states as much. I just need the exact blue color code, not "Ford blue is pretty close". Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why not send it back East to get painted as they do Calif. black plates too. Try Hemmings News for the painted plates. that's the best I can do to help a Calif guy like you and me.
