My 1969 F85 is Crimson. It had white "W-31" stickers on the front fenders. Is (was) it possible to have gotten black "W-31" stickers on a red car? I can't find anything in the assembly manual on this.

My preference would be to have black, to better coordinate with the black hood stripes and black interior. But don't want to have an obvious diviation from factory correct.

Any expert opinions????
