1968 cutlass pic

Anybody out there have a photo of a cutlass in jade gold with a gold top? Trim code S-8. The 442 I just purchased had the top removed prior to my purchasing it and I would like to see what it would look like with the original top. Thanks

thanks Allyolds68, Tough to say but that looks really close to tan, which I can get. I contacted SMS for material and will wait to see what they provide if anything.

There were only four convertible roof colors in 68; Black, Blue, White, & Gold. The pic I posted definitely isn't White. I also found a couple vinyl top pics when I searched and the color was very close to the convertible top pic above.

FWIW if the OP is referring to vinyl tops the four colors are Black, Blue, Parchment and Gold

Aren't "black, blue, white, and gold" FOUR colors?

A friend gave me some info from "By the numbers" from Supercars Unlimited and It lists six colors for vinyl tops: Black, Blue, Teal, Parchment, Buckskin, and Gold. The 8 on my trim tag is gold. That being said with the convertible only having one color in my range which is the gold it would stand to reason that all tan looking convertibles should be the same color as what i'm looking for. I didn't cross that info before. I thought I saw a convertible for sale online that had the parchment top. This should not be possible if the info I have is correct I will see if I can find it and check it out.

It's possible other colors could have been added later in the model year but I doubt it

Received the samples from SMS. It appears that my top (code 8) was the color of the top in the pic above. I don't want to offend anybody but...That is an ugly top to me.
