1965 cutlass dash paint

I'm repainting the dash on my 65 Cutlass. The color is two shades of black, upper is flat black and lower is gloss black. I also want to freshen up the A pillers. That color is like an off white. What would be a close match to these colors in a rattle can?

I checked out 442 Bro but did'nt see anything for the metal part of the dash, only the instrument panel. Anybody have any experience painting the dash and matching the two shades of black?

Check with TK65 he just did or still is doing a correct restoration and would most likely know the answer

I'm looking to do the same thing on my 71.

A lot of the teamchevelle forum guys are saying to use SEM Trim Paint or a laquer based gloss/semi-gloss depending on how you want the finish. According to what I've read, DO NOT use an enamel based paint. Luckily everything I need is black, so not too hard to find.

If I can't find it here, I'll usually google search whatever I'm looking for with the keyword "chevelle" since you get more links than with "cutlass" haha.

When I need paint to match I go to the local paint supplier and have a small batch mixed and put in a fu-fu can.
