1963 Starfire engine compartment paint

My son and I are getting ready to media blast the entire engine compartment, as the engine/trans are out and most of the front assembly. We are media blasting all the front radiator supports and misc supports.

We are pressure washing the entire area first w/degreaser and then blasting.

What type of media blast do you recommend? I was thinking play sand or aluminum oxide...

And what type of primer/paint do I want to use on the firewall, wheel wells, radiator supports? I was thinking of using Eastwood Rust encapsulator black to seal it all and then coming back with Underhood Black...

Any information is very helpful
