my vote is for black cat run it was listed above but that car seemed wicked and truly notable. factory looking but fast the way w 30 cars and sx,s should have been done back then and heavy duty across the line. the true essence of musclecars.

The first episode of Snowfall, within the first 5 minutes, has a scene with a '70 442 'vert in it. Can only see the rear of the car though.

Waiting for it to show up in a subsequent episode...........

That was a chase! The Professional Car Society folks are probably in need of an ammalance after they see it...

Had to be two hell of a stunt drivers to make those heavyweights dance like that...

East Boston Savings Bank Commercial

Not a movie, but here's a very nice '56 Super 88 four door sedan (not mine) in a new local bank commercial.

Saw an TV advertisement today for some prescription drug (can't remember the name of it), but it featured a "patient" who's hobby is working on his '72 442 'vert. It was in black-and-white so I couldn't tell what color this car was, but it sure looked nice.

Jake and Elwood Blues drove through an Oldsmobile dealership.
A friend of mine says the 64 Pontiac GTO is the first muscle car, I beg to differ...

I know it was just a movie, a great one at that, but how do you have a car dealership inside a shopping mall? Seems too inconvenient.

They have them in Japan. It's not a dealership, it's a showroom. You buy elsewhere, just look there and they refer you to the dealership.

I think that program confused the OHV Rocket 8's launch as the dawn of the muscle car era.

I would argue the first muscle car to be the Chrysler 300 letter series cars.
