Little help here.
Hi. Great site.
My son has a 75 Omega. The ignition lock selinoid locked up. I have the whole steering wheel torn down but can not get it out. There is no retaining screw and the only hole I can try to depress a clip does nothing.
It is sitting in my driveway and the HOA will not be happy. HELP!!
Anyone want a BIG project car for cheap??? Haha.
Thanks

In particular, note this photo. Be aware that the photo is rotated and "up" is actually to the left in the picture. The tab to be depressed is in the circle.:

Frequently there is casting flash that covers the hole. Simply poke through it with a screwdriver. If you can't poke through easily, you're pushing in the wrong place. Pull outward on the lock cylinder while depressing the tab.
