Stock Radio Volume is Low

I have a 70 SX with a stock AM/FM Stereo in it. The volume used to work just fine and now you have to turn it up all the way to hear the music faintly. Any ideas? Also where can I get it repaired?

Thanks,
Shawn

These Delco radios use a large TO-3 package power output transistor that goes bad. I've had good success in replacing the transistor myself. I unsolder the old one and take it to Radio Shack for a match up. It's a pretty generic power transistor and cross reference is easy (well, it used to be...).

Just repaired

I brought my Stock Delco Stereo radio into a local repair shop in San Antonio, TX and they had it fixed it 2 days. If you need radio repairs completed let me know and I'll email you the information. It was only $70.
