I know, I know...not period correct ..but still vintage...

Just wanted to share a pic of a little "dress up" I did on my battery. I know it's not period correct, but at least it's vintage. And yes, I know, the stickers aren't in the right locations, but I was going more for aesthetics than accuracy.

Yes, I know I could get a battery topper, but I'm not ready to drop 50 bones on one when I could use that money more wisely for another project/upgrade, so I'm good for now😀

1972? Freedom is wrong for those years, 1976 or 77 up.

If the battery consistently produces over 12V & starts the vehicle it’s the battery you should have. If you’re not going concourse and you’re closer to a daily driver, just enjoy your vehicle.

Looks excellent. Great thinking and a creative solution to "get the look".

Did you put those stickers on a new battery, or is that a top from a old freedom battery? Or is that actually a old freedom battery? Looks good to me...
