Believe the car was a 56, not 57. There are a lot more pictures of the car here:

Including one of the interior. Looks like the speedo was in the center hub of the steering wheel! From the brochure, the wheel tilted in too.

There was also a design a patent on the front end styling.

Note the rear split window as well that was later used on the Corvette, assume there was probably a patent on that styling too.
