Delta 88 and 73 Omega quetion

Looking for a company that sells repo foam and seat covers for these two cars. I have been looking on Nova sites for the Omega. Any help would be appreciated. The Delta 88 has buckets, and Omega has the bench (houndstooth)

Thanks

I don't think anybody is selling repossessed seat foam since I doubt there is any. Sorry I just had to jerk you chain over your typo. The only place I can think of that might have it is SMS Auto Fabrics. Here is a link: https://smsautofabrics.com/?gclid=Cj...xoCJXQQAvD_BwE

Good luck

I'm sure the foam could be purchased at any auto upholstery shop. The Omega - isn't the hounds tooth pattern only available in black/white?

SMS Sample for 1973 Omega
You say your Delta has bucket seats? What year is it because none of the 73 Delta 88 models had bucket seat. You aren't referring the the front bench split seat with center armrest by chance?

From the 1973 Product guide

From the 1973 Oldsmobile SPECS

This pattern is repeated for Delta Royale as well from 1971-1973

Allen, thanks for setting me straight on this. I was thinking fabric and not foam. Foam should not be a problem. You gave good advice.

What year Delta? The 1960s D88s used the same bucket seat frames as those in the A-body cars.

That's what I was curious about too. He referenced a 73 Omega so I was thinking he might have D88 in the same time range or slightly earlier

The Delta is a 67 2 door. The black and white houndstooth is exactly what I am after.

So the foam wouldn't have to molded? Just any would do?

Glenn, you did too. OP was also looking for seat cover material. I doubt SMS sells a kit for this so a local company would have to create the seat cover. Legendary seems to be focused more on the A body. I haven't seen any of their offerings for B/C cars or E platforms.

The foam would need to be shaped. As far as type? I believe it does make a difference. An upholstery shop can show you the foam, explain the density requirements and also the rebuild process. They likely also have an ample supply of vinyl/naughahyde that you can choose from for the accent parts of the seat.

Ok, dumb question time. Sorry bout dat. None of the aftermarket companies I looked at offer seat covers for B bodies. I read your comment about the A body seat frames and foam being the same for the B body which is interesting. Would the A body materials presented by Legendary be a reasonably good match for a 67 Delta? IDK myself and I believe you have more expertise than most with those cars.
From the pics on the OCM pages it looks like the stitching pattern is completely different. Comments?

Yes, the 67 Delta bucket seat frames are the same as the Cutlass frames. Yes, the upholstery patterns are different. Yes, no one makes the Delta seat covers.
