Wouldn't the D&D or original 4 speed bell housing work with the z bar? I assumed that would bolt right up.

The z-bar pivot ball mounts to the block, not the bellhousing.

I was not aware that the Rover block lacked the provision. I have a 1990s vintage T5 with the factory hydraulic throwout bearing for mine, as the clutch linkage takes up precious space for the driver side exhaust.

Joe, is correct, the ball stud mounts to the block and the Rover engine does not have provisions for this.. Also very important, as mentioned by Joe, the Z bar takes up a lot of space..

I have dual exhaust system on mine and it would have been even more of a nightmare if the Z Bar was still there.

I am using the factory, original, T-10 4 Speed tranny (for the guy that asked)

Hi,
Interested in more information on your radiator. I made out "Champion" on the cap, same mfr as radiator?
Thanks.

Looks amazing! If it helps anyone, then the front covers and sumps can be fitted to late model 4.0/4.6 Rover V8 distributor-less engines, as can some Buick V6's as they were derived from the V8's. The V6 also has a helpful side mounting oil filter mount that can help with clearance issues.
