Rover Engine in an '62 F-85 Cutlass

I was not aware that the Rover block lacked the provision. I have a 1990s vintage T5 with the factory hydraulic throwout bearing for mine, as the clutch linkage takes up precious space for the driver side exhaust.

The z-bar pivot ball mounts to the block, not the bellhousing.

I have dual exhaust system on mine and it would have been even more of a nightmare if the Z Bar was still there.
I am using the factory, original, T-10 4 Speed tranny (for the guy that asked)

Looks amazing! If it helps anyone, then the front covers and sumps can be fitted to late model 4.0/4.6 Rover V8 distributor-less engines, as can some Buick V6's as they were derived from the V8's. The V6 also has a helpful side mounting oil filter mount that can help with clearance issues.
