Wiper motor linkage differences...65/66/67....
really need help guys...want to swap from round 2 speed wiper from motor to a rectangular 2 speed Wiper motor http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AA...ake|OLDSMOBILE reuse the stock 65 arm but notice that the arm hit the inner fire-wall.
My question is if anybody know if the linkage from the rectangular (maybe 67) models are different than from the 65 models...?
Car is 65 442

Hi Denis
This may be a one speed rather than 2 speed wiper. I say that because it only has two forks for the wiring. One of the 1965 guru's will have to clarify. But I removed these pieces from a 1965 F85. Let me know if there's another view or measurement you'll like to have. John

In 66 both motors were used. That is the year I am familiar with; the arms were different, and the connectors to the motor and pump were different, with the same wires but arranged differently. Also the dash switches were different with different connectors and again the wires arranged differently.
