Question Windshield Washer Fluid _ What is it? / How to Make your own?

What is that blue stuff?

for the cheap cost it is probably something very simple with blue dye or food coloring added.
However I dont like the blue dye stuff which stains the container and prob other things it touches.
Any of you all know how to make my own?
How bout plain or distilled water with some surfactant or further wetting agent added.

Nope,... you?
I signed up for their forum but apparently no one posts on it.
I'd likely join if I knew that I could get some use out of it. Depends on cost vs return I suppose.
Tell me more please.

thanks,
jaco

Well, I'm the newsletter editor for the South Texas Oldsmobile Club. We interface with the Gulf Coast club a lot. I can't tell you how much enjoyment, fun, tech help and parts I've gotten from being a member. Whether you are a "factory fresh" guy or a "show and shine" guy or a cruising guy or a racing guy or....

Well...you get the idea.

Contact Dan Neiss, president at president@texasgulfcoastoldsclub.org or Margaret Yancey, secretary (her husband Pat is president of the OCA) at secretary@texasgulfcoastoldsclub.org.

Good people there.

C.J.
