Gasoline Starvation during Sharp Turns (outa-gas-like)
My 1990 Ninety-Eight will "die" during a sharp turn if the tank is 1/4 (quarter) or less full.
It will recover within a few seconds after straightening out car. But depending on traffic and logistics it can be a safety concern I guess.
I have read somewhere on-line that others have complained about same occurance.
I am assuming there is a baffle (or several) in the tank. One Olds man told me he thought there was a Baffle Box into which the pickup tube went inside the tank.
I am wondering if this occurance was the norm from the showroom floor, or if it is a symptom only after years and time elapse.
And does this happen on anything other than the "C" bodies?
In other words do any of yall know if the baffles collapse or corrode away which causes this?
or is there some other explanation?
Any known cure? (other than keeping the tank more than 1/4 full ?

Ya know it seems there would be enough gas in line between tank & fuel rail to sustain ignition for several seconds (at least 10 I would think).
But the cut-out is immediately within the turn. Even a 90degree turn from a roll. (Not sure if same will occur from a stop to a 90degree turn / hope I remember to check next time I'm gas low).
So it seems the gasoline-less air pocket would not kill the engine til after about 10 seconds. So what am I overlooking here?
Could the stall be result of the fuel injection system instead of the tank?
