For 72 Cutlass S 2 door hardtop.
I was working inside the doors. I removed the 2 lower window down stops. I dropped one of them and the 'rubber' part broke off (it's 55 years old and very hard/brittle). I have looked extensively and cannot find a replacement rubber bumper. The 31 May 1980 Parts Catalog shows it as a single assy consisting of the steel bracket and the rubber bumper. I only need the rubber bumper, but I cannot find either the bumper or the entire assy. Anybody knowing a source would be appreciated. I can modify the broken one and make it work but would rather have a new not-so-brittle part.
Dimensions of the rubber: 1 11/16" (43 mm) diameter, 1/2" (13mm) thick, mounting hole in bracket is 3/8" diameter.

Found some...Ames Performance Engineering has them....$6 each PN F153
Worth ordering to get one of their paper catalogs (specify GTO).
Of course there are probably plenty of good used originals out there as well....most likely hard as a hockey puck as well so get the bracket w/the puck still attached if going used original.
Thanks much, Patton.
I also found some possible alternatives on Auveco, their #4265, 4265B, or #4236. I can't find any dimensions on their website, so I'm planning to call them Monday 2 march.
I will also check the ones you found at Ames.
Thanks again.
