Is there a rebuild kit available to rebuild top cylinders?

Try Hydro Electric if anyone does it will be them.

I have replaced two through the years but found it above my pay grade to attempt a rebuild, just easier to buy new for me. Your millage may differ.... Tedd

Last time I had my car apart I inspected the lift cylinders and the end appears to be taper crimped, so I would say rebuilding them in your garage is likely not possible. The guts are probably just some o-rings and seals, but how to open up the end to get to the innards is the issue.

Sealing them back up is another issue. If they leak or burst ( spring a leak) you could ruin your top with a stain.

Generally you get a nice puddle of fluid on the carpet which runs to the floorboards. Total bitch to clean up.... Don't ask me how I know.... Tedd
