Quadrajet is a good streetable carburetor with the spreadbore design. It is a bit more difficult to set up than an Edelbrock. Edelbrock carbs are easy to use. Just buy one and slap it on. Practically the only thing you have to do is set the idle speed.

Quadrajet for sure. But for your Cutlass was the original carburetor a Quadrajet or the predecessor? Maybe Norm or Joe would know. Anyone? Jesse what kind was on your 394?

The 64 330 used the square bore Rochester 4GC. While I prefer the Qjet, the Edelbrock (which is really a Carter AFB) is a good choice that should bolt directly to the original intake.
