Brake line clearance for headers.

I have a 68 442 with a 73 455 in it with headers. I’m putting new front brake lines in and was wondering where everyone typically runs them to keep enough heat clearance versus the factory route? Thanks.

The line that runs along the back edge of the crossmember is usually the one to be concerned about. I've moved it up to the top of the crossmember on some cars with headers.

okay awesome that’s the one I meant. The previous owner relocated the proportioning valve to the top of the fender well and I’m moving it to the bracket under the master cylinder. Just makes more sense to me. Thanks for the help!
