Brake fluid canister needed

I have a 1955 Olds 88 which needs the brake fluid canister and plunger located under power brake pedal. The canister itself is located at base of firewall. Any info as to where I can get one of these is appreciated. <jerrywaynehamlin@msn.com>

I believe your talking about the power brake unit with the master cylinder this is actually two seperate pieces. The cannister is located in the right fender well. Two different manufactures made these for Oldsmobile, Moraine and Bendix. I have a Moraine unit complete with the master cylinder unit out of a 57 Olds just pulled it to do a disc brake conversion. Not sure if it fits the 55 becaues I don't have a 55 manual to compare too. Maybe someone can chime in with more info. Its for sale if you want it $100.00 plus shipping. I will post a picture from my 57 manual today

Hi Pat, Thanks forthe email. I believe 55 and 56 are same but some changes in 57 but similiar style. I may be wrong on this, I've been wrong once before If I find out it will work I will contact you. I'm down in Eugene, Or.
