70-72 Rally fuel gauge without 2 inner rings

Has anyone seen a rally gauge like this one? It only has one inner ring on the silver inlay. All the other gauges (rally and standard) on my cars have 2 rings. The number on the back is 6481170

My guess would be it was restored....incorrectly. The resistors are supposed to be marked with color codes like these.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I was meant the black circular ring on the face of the gauge. See pic below with orange arrow.

The 73 used a different font then that.

What is the date on the circuit board?

It's in my original post. The number ends with '70', but I don't know if it's a coincidence or not.

That's the part number, not the date code. Look around for the date.

I overlooked the date as it was very faint, but upon close inspection I can read "9 69".
