63' Olds Dynamic 88 (locating starter with proper mount)

Good Morning,

My name is Malcolm. I'm located in Louisiana. I joined this forum to see if there is anyone that could direct me in locating a replacement starter with the proper housing to mount the starter. The dilemma is that while my car was in a restoration shop a replacement starter was purchased from O'Reilly's. After my car was returned a few months thereafter, the starter would not disengage and malfunctioned. I had a mechanic remove the starter and return it to the store, in turn I was given a different starter that would not mount. This has been ongoing since December. The part is under warranty and they will pay for a replacement, but they have been unsuccessful in locating the proper part. It really isn't the starter that's the problem it's the staggered housing holes. They are not parallel to each other. One is slightly higher than the other hole.
