1977 t top grand prix
400 4 barrel runs strong. leather buckets with power everything. lots of mechanical done to keep it tip top. could really drive cross country with confidence. has very little rust and could use the seats to be recovered. rest of int is fine. car was painted 20 years ago and still shines and has no crazing or cracking in the finish. rear driver floor needs fixing but it is an easy deal to do. too many cars and not enough time. asking $4300- message me here or 401 499 5597. david.

I always liked that 73-77 series as well. I had a 77 SJ (with the 403 Olds engine!) and thoroughly enjoyed it for 8 years. It took me from Washington to California to Virginia to Florida and back to California again before I sold it in 1989 for $1000. It was a great car.

yeah i love these cars too- think i should seek counseling? nice sj by the way, t tops are cool and i had to have them but they almost always leak and eventually ruin the floors. so a sunroof probably preserves the car better. the olds motored gps and trans ams were california cars as the pontiac motor did not meet cali emissions that year. i had a white 77 gp in 1990 and beat newer ta's and mustangs on the highway every time, always surprising the hell out of them. (dual exhaust rebuilt 400 trans with shift kit and 2.73 posi would bury the 100 mph speedo in second and was good for a solid 130)

thanks nortown, i was up to four at the same time but sold the gold one in the middle a year ago to a guy in louisiana as it was too rusty on the bottom to be what i needed. it did have 94k original on it though and ran smooth and strong so it was a great driver. i bought the white one for parts and did nothing with it as it was too nice for me to bring myself to cut it up, so i just sold it to a local guy for $600. it ran when i bought it but 30 miles later, the weak *** 301 seized right after changing the oil. it sat for 10 years before i got it so maybe i should not have bothered to change the oil as it was supossed to just be for parts! i'm 39 and the guys 45 and up said these were the stylin cars back when they were pretty new.

You're MOST WELCOME! Those GPs are cool...always were stylish; and yeah in the day most guys recall that right!! GOOD job on getting them off to good homes; I'm with ya in that I can never bring myself to "tear up" a decent car... 70s cars are starting to come into their own more now; you see more and more turning up at car shows. It was fun era to be sure! (FUNNY how your tastes in cars can change as you age too...I find myself endured more and more by cars that, in their day I wouldn't even bother looking twice at!) Take good care; keep 'em rollin'!

Yep ! cool cars I had a 76 that I bought from my DAD who got it brand new.I wish I had of kept it because I really got nothing for it when I traded it on an 87 Iroc .Yeah x2 on it is funny how your taste changes as ya get older ,I do love my Cutlass though, but id love to get that Grand Prix back .Not many cars built today that I'd actually say I'd have to have .

x3 on the tastes changing as we age- i looked at some cars when i was younger that you could not give to me, but have grown on me over the years. always liked gp's though as my stepdad had a 73 in 1985 and when i was 12, he let me drive it. black with oxblood buckets and full power. one day we were at a&w root beer and when the cars pulled out, they would sometimes leave a little rubber- i begged him to do it too, and he said come on david, this car won't do that, and i said of course it will! so he obliged, and it spun for at least a hundred feet so i was happy! hey re olds, i got a nice 76 golden anniversary right here for ya!
