1973 Lincoln Mark IV for sale

My next door neighbor is selling this car. It was his mother's and has been garaged for the past thirty years. He said he wants $10,000 for it. The car looks good but I don't know anything about it other than I took some pictures of it. Have more pics if anyone is interested and I can get you the info of the owner. He said it runs and drives great. It has 68,526 miles on it.

I have pics of all sides and a couple of the interior and engine but not sure if anyone would be interested because it's not an Olds.

My older cousin had a new silver one back then. It was an awesome car. Nice looking car. If it runs as nice as it looks it's a great deal. I love my Olds but if I weren't retired, I'd like to have this on sitting in my garage! GLWTS

My mom bought a new 73 Mark IV (her 69 Mark III was stolen) and I drove it a lot even thought I had a 69 GTO Judge that was all original I bought in 72. I took it to my Jr & Sr Proms. The Lincoln was one of my fav cars, the front 2 divided seats were maybe the biggest ever put in a car and the dual fold down arm rest for each front seat was a great part of it. In 77 I bought my cousins 74 T-bird (the sister car of the Mark IV), it was triple white with black dash & carpets, it had every option including the rare electric vent windows that went down before the main side window went down. Both for-said cars for me ran great for years. Some day I'd like another Mark IV. The Long Hoods on those cars are just my thing ! Also those 2 cars are one of the FEW that the steering wheel lined up with the center of the driver's seat, whereas most cars the steering wheel favors the left of the dash to accommodate 3 people seating even with bucket seats. Today's full size trucks favor the left side of the dash so the steering wheel aims to the left of center of the drivers bucket seat. For $60,000 to $100,000 + you would think that they would straighten that out.
