1947 Buick super

This is a great project to nice for me to cut up…
I would say it was a barn find but don’t think it was ever lost… it has been sitting sense 1970 and was dirty lol..
straight 8 and 3 on tree she rolls over but starter needs rebuilt…
needs rockers and some floor patches
lights work turn signals work but think left front is out now… radio lights up but no sound..
would be a great driver or take it all the way back to new..
seams to be all there but hub caps
$4500

What a great car to restore. It looks like it is all there and even looks like original paint. One of those old straight eights with a standard transmission would be sweet. I would probably do it in maroon with some wide whitewalls. I hope it gets a good home and gets restored and not restomoded.

Put it on AACA Buick forums too. They'll slobber over it. Looks like good bones except that trunk floor but that should be a reasonably easy repair.

Biggest thing I don't like about these years Buicks is that torque tube drive. The things ALWAYS leak. But you have to give it props. Car has presence. Even restomodded or kustomized, these have an undeniable presence.

Anyone notice the underseat heater?😎
