Town and country noise from engine area

Hello classicoldsmobile. Has anyone pulled a transmission from a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan or like vehicle? I'd like to know what I'm in for. I am trying to help a friend who's having a rough time, her minivan is making an intermittent noise , sounds like someone threw a hand full of lug nuts in a washing machine. makes a little noise on start up and at idle goes away when a load on engine. Turns out the flywheel is cracked, I can see it through the little inspection cover.
thanks JIm

Jim, I've never done work on a Chrysler Town and Country but I've helped friends do maintenance on their daily driver. If you can find a used transmission from a salvage yard with a good flywheel it might be worthwhile to swap them. Good luck.

Thanks for responding.
Transmission is fine, operating as intended.
I can see the begining of the crack in the flywheel/flexplate.
My concern is how hard to get the trans out & back in.
On an old school rwd Americano auto I have cheated by sliding trans back & supporting it.
This one has to come out. And I found a youtube video the guy does a decent job explaining what needs to be done.
Flywheel new is under $100.
Soooooo, next week end I will attempt this.
Now I am enjoying my 2nd Blue Moon.
You enjoy the rest of your wkend!!!
