My 68 Charger Desk

I know it not an Oldsmobile But.......
I have been wanting this desk since my Dad passed away in 1994, This was his desk in his Used Car lot show room. My Dad's Brother (My Uncle) kept the desk, he in turned gave it to his Brother in law, witch he had a Chrysler dealership, he in turned put into storage and never used it. He just sold the dealership last week, so I stopped and asked what he did with the desk, he said you want it ? I asked what he wanted for it, he said it's yours get it outta here !
I'm thinking of making it into a TV stand, desk is in bad shape, needs redone all body work is showing now, I want to make trunk open and Tv on back side of trunk lid, gonna be a job, because it has been narrowed quite a bit. sorry for long story Here it is .........

I love when furniture is made out of cars.

Cool! Although I'm glad it was a Mopar rather than an Oldsmobile that was cut up

A local auto parts store has the rear of a 70ish boat tailed Riviera attached to the side of their brick building. If one can't remember the name of the store all they have to say is: "The one with the yellow car sticking out of it" and anyone in town knows where it is! No doubt if someone couldn't remember your Dad's name they could say the guy with the really cool desk!!!

...and that's the best year of Charger, too - 1968 - the one with the round taillights. That's a neat talking piece!
