Buick GS question
I just purchased this 69 Buick gs 400 stage 1 car.50,000 original miles.Been parked in a garage since 1983.Unmolested no rust paint is faced had one dent fixed. No rust anywhere,I know nothing about Buicks.I was wondering what this would be worth.

You just bought it, and now you want to know what it's worth? Seems kind of backward.
The Old Cars Price Guide puts the value of a '69 GS 400 in #4 condition (runs and drives but needs full restoration), which is what it looks like in that one photo, at about $7,000. In #3 condition ("car show" but not showroom), the listed value jumps to $17,000. Depending on what's right or wrong with the car, it's probably somewhere in between and closer to the lower end.

A lot of value goes away if it doesn't have a good transferable title. The states are getting tougher to register non titled vehicles because of theft problems. Cars that were stolen many years ago, put away in garages or barns, are starting to see the daylight. If you buy one, and a year later, the serial number gets "caught" in one of the random serial number checks, you loose the car.

Car is pretty much unmolested except an aftermarket 8 track player and a set of thrush mufflers. No rust holes any where.A little work on the one quarter but not rust repair.Low option car power steering, power brakes, stage 1 no a/c Buckets seat console.Original paint, white interior.Car is PA titled.Protecto plate is in the glove box going to pull the rear seat and look for the build sheet.

I like it.
And back when everyone and his mother was driving one of these things, I don't think I ever saw one without an 8-track and a pair of Thrush mufflers (or Cherry Bombs).

60 442 owner here that just picked up a 68 GS Califronia almost 3 weeks ago.
Yours looks to be in way better shape than the one I picked up. Congrats on a great find.
What are your plans with it?
I plan on rebuilding mine inot a restored appearence cruiser that will run in the 12s. I've also thought of selling it when finished since I'll only have a fraction of money in it compared to what it will be worth. When It's all done I'm sure I'll just want to keep it.
To me old cars are more rare than money anyways.

Here's another similar to yours back in 2011 that was listed for $6900 on Ebay.

With these 5 digit odometers I've always been truly curious how many are legitimately under 100K
after 40+ years. Either it's not truly under 100K, or if it is.....That would mean someone spent
ALL THAT $$$$ and only drove the car 50,000 miles.......kinda hard to believe someone would do that,
and let the car go to hell......or it's stolen.
That's like buying a $40,000 performance V8 car today, driving it for 3-4 years and leaving it in a garage
for decades not in use. Doesn't make much sense to me. This is where my pessimistic view of stolen
vehicles emerges with these advertised vehicles. Just be EXTRA careful!!!!! Coworker or not......
I know a coworker of my mothers who bought a 90's BMW from what seemed like a legit seller and it turned
out to be a stolen vehicle, and they were being charged with GTA until they gave the police the sellers info.
