Im looking to buy a radiator but having problems locating the correct one. does anyone know where i can get one? 64 cutlass f85. thanks in advance


i installed a 6.0 LQ9 engine

 

Prohandze-problem is that I assume you have the 64 only driver inlet water pump.I have a 65 on up water pump (passenger side inlet) on my 64 F-85 with a Champion radiator-that's for a 64-65 GTO. FYI-the radiator core support is 64 only too. 65 core support is about 3 inches deeper. Or re-core the one you have. FYI- I have the 330 drivers side water pump if you need a spare.

 

What I did on my 64 F-85 was take the bottom off the 64 core support and install a 65 bottom problem solved. I have a 65 core support I could send the bottom. I just painted the alumn rad. bottom black so it doesn't stand out looking from the front.

 

so you welded a 65 bottom to a 64 support?

 

That is what i did, I then put in a Champion radiator.
