I built this mild 360 inch SBC 4.060 X 3.480, flattop pistons, worked over factory 5.7 rods, mild solid lifter flat tappet cam .495 lift 242 @ .050, 108 LS, 1.6 rocker one the intake. Ported double hump heads, 2.02/1.60 valves, ported Performer RPM air gap intake, 750 Holley, 1 inch open spacer. Milodon oil pan with oil control modifications, 10/40 Maxima oil, Wix 51061 filter, test on 91 octane pump gas.

 

I would like to see more detail on the work you do to the rods. Some pics with a brief description would be great. Nice work.

 

I took 8 virgin 1969 300 HP 350 rods, wet magged, checked the small end for press, installed ARP rod bolts, and resized the, balanced them, Sorry I didn't take pictures, actually I had this short block built for years, it was going into my race/shop truck but never made it into the truck. Its going in here:

 

Figured it was going in a chevy II when I saw the oil pan. Nice work.
