98 Front disc brakes

Does anyone know when GM made font discs standard on the 98? Thanks

I don't really know the answer to your question, but since no one has replied, I thought I would make a guess based on what I know.

You may already know but 67 and 68 offered 4 piston caliper disc brakes as an option on most gm cars if not all.

I will guess big cars (B-body) came standard in 73 with disc brakes. But that is a total guess.

1969 went with the single piston setup. I know I have seen 70 big gms with drum brakes. and novas with drum up to 74.

Pretty sure The nova or x-body cars became standard with discs in 75.

Are you looking for a setup? If so, What year?

Power front disc brakes became standard on the 1970 Oldsmobile Ninety Eights. Optional on the 88s. Hope this helps, Dave
