Power seat wiring question

Hi All,

I have a '63 Town Sedan to which I want to add 6-way power bench seat. Back when you could still find '60's cars in regular junkyards I salvaged a set-up out of a '66 98. I got tracks, drive cables, motor, transmission, under-seat relay, switch and most of wiring. I have harness for under the seat and what goes to switch, but in haste to get parts out before the yard closed I cut power feed wire (big red) as well as a pink wire, which were part of the body harness. It's been so many years I don't recall where these are supposed to go? When I check the '63 shop manual wiring diagram, it looks like there is a second relay? I just assumed the red lead went to terminal on fuse block. Pink I have no idea. Can anyone who has a '63 to '66 send pix or clarify this mystery for me?

Thanks,

John

John, The Pink wire goes to the "operating" connector of the relay-in '66, located behind the kick panel-along with the wire from the "ignition" terminal on the fuse block. The Red wire goes to the "operated" connector on the same relay. The 3rd connector on the relay is "hot", connected to the circuit breaker in the line from the terminal block. The Pink wire feeds power to the switch. The Red wire feeds the relay under the seat. I have the wire diagram but can't scan it just now. If you need it, I will try to scan it for you.
