On the hunt for exhaust manifolds

Hey Gang!

So, it was bound to happen eventually...I've completed lots of improvements to my Ninety Eight since I got it last November. The last thing that I want for it is dual exhaust.
Being that it is a Custom Sport Coupe, it would have been equipped with the Starfire engine with factory duals (...the driver's side exhaust hangers are still in place...) however, with the engine transplant that occurred at some point, it now wears the more common 394 exhaust crossover and single pipe.
Therefore, I am searching for a set of dual exhaust manifolds for her.

My question for the DarkSiders is this:

What models/years besides the 64 Custom Sport Coupe should I be searching for? I know that the 394ci I have was the same from 58 to 64. Would the duals from a Starfire fit into the Ninety Eight?

Anyone on her have a set of these magical-manifolds to sell? I will likely be at the Homecoming show in Lansing again in 2026 if a meet up would be possible.

Thanks!

1963 and 1964 FS Olds equipped with a Starfire engine. Starfire, Jetstar I, Ninety Eight CSC had the Starfire engine standard. It was optional on all other B and C body cars except Jetstar 88.

The passenger side manifold is same on all 1963 and 1964 394 cars. Dual exhaust applications had a triangular steel block off plate where the single exhaust crossover pipe connects.

Here's what you're looking for:

1963 1964 394 Oldsmobile Left Dual Exhaust Manifold Starfire 98 63 64 | eBay

All 394's with dual exhaust had this manifold. Not just Starfire.

Wow!
That's alot of dough for a rough looking piece but I see it's the only one onEbay I can find right now.

When we had my 62 on the lift I looked at the single setup and it "looks" like with some trial and error you could make the single manifold work. It will require welding up some small bends as I don't think bending a single piece will be a tight enough radius but I believe it will work.
That's way down on my list but if I ever get it done I'll post pics.

Hi Tyroma,
Mike is in Warren Michigan just north of Detroit.
I've bought lots of parts from him for my 63's. $400.00 is the going rate for a dual manifold now because all the 61 and 62 guys have figured out they work on their engines as well.

This is an option if you can't find an OE dual exhaust manifold. Essentially you would just have a good exhaust shop fabricate a custom set of headers.

Thanks for all the input, Gang!
I have been watching that one on eBay, but I am sure the shipping would be killer! I have reached out to member deaddds because I have dealt with him before and he goes to the Homecoming show. There is a local Olds guy that I snagged my 4 barrel intake/carb from. He told me that he has a whole barn full of 394 engines and parts. I'll start with him.

I'll keep y'all posted on my search!

It looks to me you could come straight off the manifold. No need for headers but that would be trick.
