THANK'S TO ALL for comments . I spent many days in salvage yards from Virginia , Pennsylvania < New York < New Hampshire and all over Maine looking for parts , Buying many NOS online .Lots of left over's which I have for sale in post's this site ,
I completely took her down to bare metal , replaced most all parts , put front Disc brakes , Factory Duels , changed the interior to fabric , with Black top , Did all myself , except the machine work on motor took about 7 years , Maiden voyage to PA about 700 miles one way , cruising speed around 75 MPH like riding on air all the way , Fantastic voyage in the boat , on return stooped on Maine turnpike at 2 PM shut down for gas and Breakfast , after trying to start her ,NOTHING ,DEAD , tried jump still nothing , called for flatbed tow .
got to Garage about 9 PM on lift the 1 thing I DID NOT replace or rebuild the STARTER BENDIX went bad , replaced with another , proceeded home , Since then She has got many 1st place trophy's .
THAT'S MY STORY and I'M STICKING TO IT .

Stunning looking car! I like the 84 wire wheel covers - they make the car look very elegant. Just curious about why the huge down turned exhausts? They just look a little out of place.

Love the '68 98!!
Yours is totally wonderful - a great job and something to be very proud of.
I'm just starting on my '68 98 Town Sedan -wont be stock since I am using some upgrades
from a donor luxury sedan (power windows, power trunk, in door courtesy lights, etc.)

Very handsome car and quality work from bumper to bumper and floorpan to roof. Shows what can be done with a non-traditional classic when you have vision and passion. All the more impressive given it was not as though you could just open up a repop parts catalog or web page and let your checkbook do the heavy lifting. Inspires me to do more with my '67 Delta.
