In search of....

I have been searching for a '75 Ninety-Eight.... I was very specific, however,
have drop all criterion to a '75 Ninety-Eight; I figure I can create the vehicle
I am looking for. My question is to see if any of you know of where I may locate a '75 Ninety-Eight (Sedan) I have found a plethora of Coupes, but no
sedans.

My grandfather owned one when I was a boy and I am looking to 'drive' down memory lane!

That's odd, because sedans outsold coupes nearly 2 to 1.

What exactly do you want in this car? it's much easier to find one with the equipment you want than to try to add it later, and loaded examples are common. Then there's the issue of finding a donor car- these cars are popular with the demo derby crowd and they don't try to save anything.

But you can get the stuff from any 74-76 car. They're nearly identical except for header panel and taillights.

I am looking for a Sedan, specifically a Royale LS with the 455, Dove Grey, Black Vinyl top and Black velour interior. My grandfather's did not have the "pillow" seats (I am not sure what the other seats are called). Oddly enough there is a 76 Coupe just down the road from me that is MINT.... Beautiful vehicle, but it is a coupe. I have been looking for over a year and if I do locate a vehicle it is a 350 or beat down.

My grandfather had a 75 (Royale) and my father had a 76 (Regency).... Talk about like father like son! I just cannot wait to pull up in my grandmothers driveway in a "grampy" replica.... I just cannot seem to find one!?!?!

Only Regencys had the pillow seats. LS coupes and sedans had a nice corduroy velour seat fabric which, even though I own a 76 Regency, to me is nicer than the pillow seats. But the car kinda fell into my lap and is in good condition, so I don't grumble about the seats. The pillow seats are very comfortable on long trips.

Ninety Eights came standard with 455s. Deltas and Delta Royales could have 350 or 455.

Oldsguy owned a 76 98 Regency coupe. It was an excellent car. Best highway car I ever drove. I would buy one in a heartbeat if I found one nearby.

Oldsguy:

There is a 76 98 coupe here in Arizona for sale.... Sweet looking ride Burgundy interior and half roof with dove grey exterior. Guy wants $9.500 for her.

I am in the process of purchasing a 75 Ninety-Eight sedan from Cali right now.... it keeps me awake at night thinking about her!

1975 olds 98

Are you still looking for a 1975 olds?
My grandfather had one also and it has been garaged all it's life since he passed away back in 1985.

This car is in immaculate condition - red 2 door top with 60K original miles located in NE.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks,

Craig
