Newbie from Lebanon saying hello :)

Hi, I am new here as well as new to Oldsmobile.
I am from Lebanon (Middle East) and just bought a 1970 convertible 98, awesome car.
It's mechanics are in excellent condition, and was given a paint job which needs attention, but otherwise the car is amazing.
My first such huge ride as I am used to collecting classic Muscle cars and European cars which are no match to the huge size of this one.
So this is going to be fun, and a change for me.
No doubt I will need to do stuff to the car and will seek guidance here.

See you around and here are few photos of the car.

Cheers
Farouk

Cool car and welcome. Check out this other thread. Thread originator has a 1974 442 in Lebanon and the last poster is there as well with a 1976 442. More Olds over there than I would have thought.

Thank you Eric.
I love the shape of your cutlass. When I was young, My father almost bought us the same shaped 442 but was convinced by my senior brother that it would be reckless to have such a car at our age. I still dream of it till tis day, Red convertible with white interior

This seems to be a great forum, and I am sure I will learn a lot here.
