New Owner 1964 Ninety-Eight

Greetings! I just bought this car from a previous member of this site - dippy114 - who posted back in 2017. He did a lot of work on it, and this is what it looks like now:

It has a rebuilt engine and trans, Holley EFI, electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, electric fan, aluminum radiator, and digital stereo with USB. He redid the body & paint, and interior. I drove it the 550km home to Toronto, Canada. I love it, but now need to get it to pass a safety inspection.

Welcome. Beautiful Oldsmobile. Was the transmission swapped, or does the EFI work with the Slim Jim Rotohydramatic?

Thank you! Yes it has its original slimjim transmission. I did see the Darksiders forum and will post there. There are so many forums on this site it's hard to know where to start! I have questions about brakes, wheels, tires, car cover, heating, exhaust, and the Holley EFI. I guess I need to find different forums for each question, right?

You can post a thread in the General forum asking all your questions. No need for multiple threads in multiple forums.

Thanks again. I used to love convertibles but now, in my 50s, I no longer want the sun beating down on my head. I wanted a 4 door, bench seat car, both as nostalgia for my childhood, but also to pile in the kids and have my sweetheart next to me in the middle seat. I also like the crank windows - problem free and more nostalgia, lol.

Steve, I picked up this car in Elliot Lake. It was on Kijiji at a great price, he had many inqueries, but nobody except me went to look at it! I've seen similar cars listed for double the price. The body and paint is not perfect but I don't care. I wanted a fun, reliable, driving car, with good mechanicals. All the parts under the hood are new.
