New member from Sweden.

Hi,
my name is Michael, I live in Sweden. Just bought a 1962 Olds 98 4 door hardtop so I am new to Oldsmobile too, but my father have owned several 50´s olds like 59 98 convertible, 53 Super 88 2d hardtop, 57 Fiesta and many other cars.

Will be interested in parts for 62 98 and Starfire. ( Don´t have a Starfire yet but planning to buy one from a friend of my dad.)
Will post pics of the 62 as soon as I get the camera back home.
Thanks, Mike

Cool of you to join.

Hockey topic: Patrik Berglund of the Blues must be homesick (low production); send some Swedish food to St. Louis to pep him up

Welcome.

I know you are true car guys because of the Swedish price on the cover of Hot Rod magazine, at least back in the late 60's when I started buying it.

I think it was a price???...Sweden KR. 3.95 Inkl oms.

BTW...I really like your bikini team a lot.

Mike, welcome to Classic Olds! Nice 98 there! A big standout in all the tiny cars there. There is another member on here from Sweden with a very similar car - https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...n-project.html. Too bad his photo site crashed and his pictures are gone... It was white I think, and it looked good!
What area in Sweden, are you at? I have traveled around the country there several times for vacation and business (also worked for Ericsson a while back); I loved it there. You have some beautiful winters - how is the snowfall so far?

Lady72nRob71: I live in Skövde, between the to big lakes. South of Stockholm and north of Gothenburg. We got about 3-4 inches of snow at the moment and 15 below zero. Send me an E-mail when you are going to Sweden next time and can show you some cool cars.

Rdrokit: Thanks, I drive a 1997 Volvo 940 Turbo in the winter.

Thanks for now, Mike

Anyone who has a color and trim selctor so I can see what colors were available together. My car is as you know white and it has the gold interior from what my dad told me. Anyone who has a list of possible combinations? Thanks, Mike

Mike,

If you go to my Saved 62 web site, listed below in my signature, you will find the trim codes and material samples. That may help you?

1962 Color and Trim.

D. Yaros,
Doesn´t the pic only shows the interior for the 88 series?
Found a pic on one list of color combos on eBay which I´m including in my post...
BTW a friend of mine also have 1955 Cadillac CDV in mint cond with low miles. Will try to get a pic of it His car is white or light yellow i think. Has been a while since I saw it
He´s i all into cadillac with four of them, one 55, two 60 ( Eldo convert and CDV ) and a 63 Convert.

Thanks, Mike
