Need help with 67 Olds 98 convertible parts.

I have a 67 98 convertible that is very rough so I'm parting it out. It is listed in the parts for sale section. Anyway, I have people asking if certain parts will fit their car and I really don't know and don't want to sell them something they can't use. So I was wondering if anyone with experiance in these things can help out with what other makes, models and years this stuff fits. For instance.....

Tilt/telescopic column.

Convertible top assembly, motor etc.

Front drums.

There may be more in the future.

Thanks
Dennis

Have you checked on interchangeability at all? In looking at photos of the two cars, I don't think the bumpers from a '68 98 would at all fit on a '67. I would expect the same for the rear bumper and for the hood. Body design changed rather dramatically from year to year in those days.

I haven't and thanks for the knowledge about interchangeability. I thought since they were so close in years that the body style wasn't changed please forgive my lack of knowledge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, proximity of model year means nothing. Every year full-size Olds was different from about 1958 to about 1976. Minor changes perhaps from year to year in outward appearance on occasion, especially for the '71-'76's, but there were enough definite differences in the details to make most body and trim pieces and certainly all bumpers not interchangeable, even for those '71 to '76 models.

If you need pieces for a '67 98, you're going to need to find another '67 98. Pieces from an 88 of the same year may fit here and there, especially for the interior, but not everything. Exterior trim is different between the two.

Dennis, do you still have the 67 convertible? I live in Battle creek Mich. and would be interested in buying the whole car if it is still available. Please contact me @ 269-832-2857 or email @ doug.v.banks@gmail.com. Thanks
