thanks old skl, im a gm man also if you could'nt tell. i also love buicks and had a 65 electra 225 fully loaded(got stolen never to return) 72 riviera, 96 riviera with a sick two tone paint job i did myself complete with ventiports from a park ave and 22s , 85 and 87 regal presidentials. nick, when i pulled up with the 98 at the burnout contest, they said "what is he gonna do with that" all snotty , so i replied "you'll see right now" and lit it up! i think most did not know that big motor + big torque= good burnout! john you will be notified for sure when it is being finished off. some probably thought i was high to dismantle her, but you got to see the titanic like underside so you know why. it helps that i found the other 98. old skl this is for you brother, the 96 riv with some almost ghetto restyling by me- i bought this car hit in the nose for $300 and did all the body and paint myself with the exception of the three shield logo i had my airbrush guy do that. enjoy!

john the 65 electra is the one that was stolen in 1990. someone pulled into my friends yard where i was keeping it and hooked it with a tow truck and it was gone. had every option and cold ac too. i sold the 96 riv to a guy in colorado four years after i finished it for less than what i paid for the wheels. on these roads, 22 inch wheels are not at all practical but it was never a daily driver anyway so i did'nt care.i reached the point of do the whole undercarriage and engine compartment over to make it show worthy or just sell it. i put the proceeds towards buying the yellow gp and every time i open up the four barrel, im glad i did!

hey darrell, thanks for the compliments on the cars, you have some sweet ones too. riv's were always a love it or hate it car, but they almost always at least had ***** in the styling department and i definitely love them, had a 72 also and it always turned heads. john, i may just follow your suggestion as it would be fun to blow the tires right off one more time! kQQl cat, i know of the show, but have'nt seen it i'll have to check it out, thanks for the info

thanks, it did come out pretty kick *** seeing i bought it for $300 hit in the front and spent $8000.00 between rims, paint, trim and clips and a new rack and tie rods. i drove it during nice weather and sold it to a guy in colorado for $2800 off ebay as i was tired of it and wanted a new project!

It was great to see you the other day. Here are a couple of pics I took from my visit. I also took a really nice pic of my car at the college we visited. I love this picture! It looks like a dealer brochure pic! Thanks again for everything and keep working on that silver 98 for the show next month!
