Help needed Valve adjustment 1953 Rocket 303 engine
Hi, my 1953 / Ninety-Eight actually got all new ignition parts.
My friend helped adjusting everything and the engine is running very nice now.
BUT - he told me the engine is running too silent and recommended to get the Valves adjusted.
So, please can anyone tell me what my mechanic has to know about the valve adjustment ?
(Sorry, as I was born in Austria my English is not very good )

The valves are not adjustable on your engine, they adjust automatically so quiet is good on this motor. Be sure to use oil with ZDDP around 1200ppm to protect the camshaft. Consider Valvoline VR1 or a diesel 15w-40 oil but check the ZDDP level.
