Question Fender Skirt Interchange from '71 to '76?!?!

Hi All,
Forgive the Newbie question but on the huge fender skirts for these "Mammoth Years" on these beloved 98s... do they interchange much at all or will a set off a '71 or '72 fit all the other years?? (what years are the same and can be interchanged?) THANKS in advance!

71-74 98 are all the same, 75-76 98 are both the same, 71-76 Custom Cruiser are all the same. The CC skirts are plastic and do not fit the sedan body. Which is a shame because those do not rust out behind the brace like the sedan skirts do.

Interesting. I thought there wasn't any interchange between these years. I guess I was wrong.

NO worries! What I love about this site is I'm learning several new things EVERYDAY!! You gave me the STRAIGHT SKINNY; AND you told me to ask on here and I'd get the FOR SURE answer; which we both did. Life is GOOD!

THANKS AGAIN to all!

The only thing you need to look out for is that the rocker panel trim that continues onto the fender skirts can differ from year to year. I found this out in my ever continuing search for a passenger side replacement skirt for my '71 98. The 71-74's may all interchange, but the trim for the '71 is only shared with the '72...the '73-74 rocker trim is different.

Ah, very nice to see a fellow Chicagoan on the board, and with a 98 no less!

We will definitely have to keep an eye out for each other. You scratch my back, I scratch yours...it's the Chicago way!
