hi guys i have a 69 olds 98 that i need to put a headlight switch in and i need help with how to take apart the dash area so as i dont break stuff. also i need to kno does anyone have a vacuum routing for this car or motor (455)?

 

. start under dash ,on top and near dash the switch has a small push down button to release the **** and stem , off hand I think you have to turn switch **** to dimmer , push down on button , twist the **** and pull it out of switch . then remove the etstuction nut , pull switch out from back of dash , unplug wire harness on switch. recommend disconnect the battery first to prevent shorts. A manual has all the information needed for repairs and diagrams .

REVISED .I just took one out of a dash that is in storage and the button is on the bottom of switch .
